Student's Spiritual Life Each morning, Tuesday through Friday, the student body meets for a time of Bible reading and prayer. This provides an opportunity to prioritize the importance of our relationship with Christ As an integral part of the students’ spiritual experience at Faith, chapel is extremely important to personal growth and spiritual renewal. Chapels are held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and on Friday evening. Weekday preachers include our own staff as well as a variety of area pastors. On Friday night, many visitors join in with our staff and students for this special service. Many refer to the Friday night chapel service as the high point of the week.

Other events focused on the spiritual growth of the student: Providing opportunity to prioritize the importance of our relationship with Christ, Fall semester begins with Opening Convention and spring semester with Spiritual Emphasis. The year is completed with a graduation convention.

Missions Seminar: Faith’s campus comes alive with activities that stimulate an interest in missions during the annual fall missions seminar. Contests, flags, videos, and ethnic foods vividly remind us that billions on this planet have yet to hear of God’s love. Missionaries share their experiences in workshops and general sessions. All students are challenged to respond by dedicating their lives to full-time mission work or support missions through prayer and financial giving.

Conference: Faith sponsors an annual conference in order to enhance the students’ educational experience. The emphasis may be children’s ministry, student ministry leadership, youth ministry, pastoral, etc.

PRAYER GROUPS:

Class Fasting & Prayer: Monday, classes meet together at lunchtime for a time of prayer.

Joshua Fasting & Prayer: Those who desire to meet weekly to fast and pray for the needs of our alumni.

Missionary Fasting & Prayer: Those with a heart for missions meet weekly to pray. In addition to praying for missionaries, the group exists to promote missions and a burden among the students.

Soul-Winning Fasting & Prayer: Those who desire to meet weekly to fast and pray for the unsaved.
